Interview With Psychic Michelle
After realizing an interview with Jane Stewart, a psychic from United States, today I am posting another interview of a psychic in the same country, Michelle! Read below on the interview.
NOTE: Some misspellings have been edited only!
Mystery Worlds: Tell us about yourself?
Michelle: There are many dimensions to who I am and what I do, but my soul’s purpose is to serve as a psychic healer and guide. Though I am known by the name Michelle, I was given the title Sem Neith by African elders. It is a title which means priestess (Sem) of the seen and unseen worlds (Neith). Neith is one of the oldest goddesses in ancient Egypt mythology, and is often referred to in hieroglyphic language as the mother of the gods – she is symbolized by the sign for multiplication – X because of her power to weave the unseen and seen worlds. Once called the goddess of Sais, which is the original name of Athens, Neith was renamed Athena in Greek mythology. I am also a self-taught chef. I teach women how to use cooking as a means for opening their psychic channels and tapping into their personal powers of Neith, so that they may send telepathic messages through food.
Michelle: This is a great question. Many people think psychics are mind readers, or sideshow fortune tellers. We are neither. The word psychic (psychiatrist, psychology, etc.) comes from the root word psyche, which means the soul in the Greek language, and has nothing to do with mind reading and little to do with fortune-telling. Though psychics do make predictions about the direction of the soul’s journey through life – this is the art of divination – the role of the psychic is to offer guidance to the soul so that it might mature and ultimately realize its purpose. Magic is a form of energy production and manipulation, and can be used for either good or ill will. For the psychic, magic is a healing tool used to help restore emotional balance, spiritual health, and happiness. For the sorcerer, magic is used to achieve personal ambitions, including revenge. That said, there are self-proclaimed psychics who are sorcerers; they have become drunk with power and believe themselves to be spiritual outlaws, so to speak. A good psychic uses their insights to help guide and nurture the soul of the petitioner, or the one seeking guidance and answers.
Michelle: In heart and soul, African-Americans are African. This is not about geography or a geopolitical identity, it’s about the deepest part of the psyche, or soul, which has been written on the DNA of people of African heritage. It is about their way of knowing, which begins with spirit/spirituality and ends with harmony. Though people of African heritage have different regional expressions of this way of knowing, it does not change – in spite of religious conversion and colonization – the way of knowing remains based on spirituality. All people of African heritage communicate with spirits, because their way of knowing is grounded in spirituality and spirit communication. We have all heard of terms such as “soul music” and “soul food,” which describes the cultural products of African-Americans – who incidentally did not stop being African just because they were no longer living in Africa.
Michelle: I think about afterlife in terms of the “unseen world” or world of spirit, or other world. Returning to ways of knowing, we must look at a culture’s view of time. Among people of African heritage and their way of knowing, time is fluid and not linear and fixed. Therefore, death is but another aspect of life. Just as everything in the natural world partakes in regeneration, so does the human soul. Through this process of regeneration, the natural world evolves and transforms. In my view, the human soul goes through a parallel process. The afterlife is not an afterlife in the sense that it comes after life: it is a part of life itself.
Michelle: Religion purports to help souls grow closer to the divine, when really it takes them further from it. I have lots to say on this issue, but because I realize that many souls need the order, discipline and affirmation that religion offers, I will respectfully limit my response here. The divine resides in the heart, and that is the birthright of every human soul. No man or mediator can serve as the authority over that which is inside of you. There is no such thing as a “heavenly father” that sits in the sky and determines human affairs. If there were, how was “he” born, and what sort of heavenly father ignores the very real power and participation of his mother to bring him into being?
Michelle: I think false psychics are worse than false prophets and just as bad as pedophile priests. There is a deep violation in the act of spiritual hypocrisy and fraudulent. Just as all doctors, physicians, therapists, and home contractors cannot be trusted, neither can all psychics. Human corruption is not exclusive to any vocation, and my heart cries for those that have sought guidance only to be molested or abused by a fraud of any kind.
Michelle: I think that I would love to be able to offer guidance and psychic insight for free, but unfortunately reality dictates that I cannot – and I cannot for several reasons, including abuse of generosity – people value that which they must pay for. In addition, doctors of any sort, including priests, ministers, and preachers are not expected to offer their services for free. Therefore, psychics should not have that expectation placed on them either.
Michelle: Human beings create both through their thoughts and actions. The imaginary place called heaven is just as imaginary as the place called hell. There is only experience, and we determine which ones we have through our thoughts and actions. We determine whether we experience heaven or hell through our reactions to happiness and suffering. Either way, we are a product of our thoughts. The key is to become designers of our own existence for once and for all – in that state we are perfected beings – we are conscious of our consciousness. We are no longer slaves to pleasure, and we are no longer captives of pain – we are one with One.
Michelle: God exists in the heart, as does “Satan”. Free will determines whether we are driven by the forces of love or the forces of hate. There is no outside being called “God”, just as there is no outside being called “Satan.” There is human thought, which creates a psychic milieu that vibrates with love, or vibrates with malice and hatred. We choose. I once read a piece that said, “God is no-thing.” I like that statement.
Michelle: Sure. It would be incredibly arrogant to assume that Earth is the only planet to contain life in this wonderfully vast universe.
Michelle: No, and thankfully. That said, I have been a host to unwanted thought-forms directed at me by the intentions and emotions of other humans. In that instance, I had to seek the assistance of another psychic to get rid of those thought-forms, which were causing havoc in my life.
Michelle: Initiate collective evolution by keeping love in your heart, taking good care of your families and our children, and sending thoughts of peace and healing to our beautiful planet – Mother Earth. Don’t be afraid to study yourself! Don’t be afraid to grow!
