Aliens Or God, Who Created Everything?

Life is a mystery! We have often asked, who created everything? Who created the universe, planets, stars and even life? Several theories have been debated, each one is reserved to his/her opinions!

Human beings have always believed in a kind of “creator”. Of course, not everyone is a believer, some reject or in doubt of such a supernatural being existence. The belief in a creator itself is divided into many parts. Not all persons think a “creator” has the characteristics that religions portray. People are rejecting religions nowadays, most are turning to spirituality because they know the degree of fantasies in religions are high!

On the other hands, Aliens are not something new to humanity! Our ancestors were curious about the existence of an extraterrestrial life. Famous Physicists, such as Michio Kaku, strongly believe we can have civilizations thousands of years more advanced than us in the universe or even in our galaxy itself.

So, who created everything? We do not have a concrete evidence who began this “everything”! On one side we have billions who believe in an imaginary being that is God when they do not have evidence of the existence, and on the other side, some may think an advanced civilization may have contributed a large part in the development of life or even universe. If there are different universes, why not an advanced civilization created us? All the possibilities exist!

Science is still working on this issue of the origin of Big Bang! No doubt in the coming decades, we will already find an answer! In the meantime, just have peanuts and watch the game, do not believe in imaginary stuffs, but use your brain and logic instead!

 

Non-Religious Beliefs

 

Non-religious beliefs are not new to the world, they are rising persistently and according to some estimations, they will be classified as the second beliefs world wide by 2030! This post will discuss on Atheism, Agnosticism, Deism and Spirituality.

Atheism

Welcome to a new era where the world is being transitioned and where religious beliefs are dying. Atheism exists before the foundation of the 3 Abrahamic religions. Socrates is a good example! As ancient fundamentalists were barbaric in that era, it was quite difficult to say you do not believe in a kind of “God”! After centuries, the rise of Atheists continue to increase. We do not have an official figure of how many Atheists are there globally but Atheism is rising.

Atheists reject the belief of an existence of a God or a Deity due to a lack of evidence. An important aspect in Atheism is not all Atheists share the same view on God. Some Atheists deny the existence of Gods in religions but do not know if a kind of “Creator” exists elsewhere while others categorically reject the existence of a God without proper evidence. In fact, Atheism is classified into two categories most of the time, such as Weak Atheist, Militant Atheist or Strong Atheist.

The criticisms of Atheism are huge compared to the rest of the non-religious beliefs! Some scholars think there is no real Atheist, either you are Agnostic-Theist or Agnostic-Atheist! You cannot deny the existence of a “God” you do not believe, and you do not know if this “God” exists or not, so why reject? Moreover, Atheists are often portrayed as ignorant, empty minded and those who live in a delusion of emptiness! Many Atheists reject everything such as extraterrestrial life, afterlife and much more because of lack of evidence. However, something which cannot be proven does not mean it does not exist! It is said that young Atheists have become Atheist because of internet without even studying and examining and also because of the issues in religions but NOT because of a lack of evidence in the existence of a God! Finally, Atheists often get the sticker as being arrogant when debate!

Even with several criticisms, the number of Atheists are rising. The top 3 countries in the world which have the most number of Atheists are Sweden, Estonia and Czech Republic!

Agnosticism

Move on Agnosticism, it is a belief which is different and confuse with Atheism. An Agnostic is someone who is not sure about the existence of a divine being. In all non-religious beliefs, Agnosticism has the highest number of adherents.

The number of Agnostics are still unknown even we know it has the highest number of adherents. We often count them together with Atheists thus it is difficult to precise which country has the highest number of Agnostics. It goes without saying that Sweden, Estonia and Czech Republic are appropriate. Agnosticism is classified into 3 categories, Agnostic-Theist, Agnostic-Atheist and Spiritual-Agnostic.  Many popular scientists are Agnostics like Neil deGrasse Tyson, and others.

The main criticisms of Agnosticism are they often portray as “sheep” by Atheists because they demonstrate they are coward to transition themselves to Atheism at once! Another criticism they often get from their fellow Atheists is by admitting “I do not know” or “Maybe” on the existence of a divine, it is like a neutral statement.

Nevertheless, Agnosticism is rising persistently in the world and many Atheists also turn to Agnosticism after gaining some maturity!

Deism

Deism is a philosophy which gained popularity in the 1500s. It is a belief which has about 2 millions of adherents globally and is growing gradually.

If you believe in a kind of Creator but reject all religious miracles, dogmas and any religion, Deism suits you! Deists believe a Creator created everything and no longer intervene into it. Everything is guided by the law of Physics and energies. There are two types of Deism, Classical and Modern. However, Deists believe if you consider yourself as a Deist, you can have different school of thoughts. For example,some Deists do not believe in afterlife or God does not have intervention in the universe while others yes!

Deism does have criticisms, for examples, Atheists often contradict this belief by declaring why believe in a kind of Creator when no evidence exists! Additionally, we can consider Deism as Agnostic-Theist and Spiritual-Agnostic as well.

Apart Agnosticism, Deism is also very famous and is growing among the non-religious beliefs.

Spirituality

Do not think Spirituality is religious! Spirituality has nothing to do with religions. It is a universal belief which is completely the contrary of religions.

Spiritual beliefs are rising day by day. More people are leaving their religions to adopt a spiritual life. For examples, many persons are interested in Buddhism, Jainism and other spiritual beliefs. As spirituality is NOT based on laws and principles or fantasies like religions, they are among the reasons for their growth. Spirituality has never got a problem in Science as well!

Spiritual persons are extremely less materialist. They prefer to devote themselves in caring the nature, animals, and many prefer to be vegetarians. Meditations and prayers are often the two common spiritual practice in many spiritual beliefs.

The criticism parts on Spirituality are very low that none of them are worth to mention because spiritual people are widely acclaimed for their peaceful behaviors to the world and to others.
