The mysterious place of Pumapunku

Located in Tiwanaku, Bolivia, the Pumapunku site will surprise you with its amazing mysterious architecture. According to some facts, the site is dated around 13,000-15,000 years ago. This is a real treasure for archeologists to have such an ancient site. The Pumapunku is visited by many persons per year. One thing is sure, it became more popular since the TV show, “Ancient Aliens” from History Channel, started investigating more on it.

What is mysterious with Pumapunku is the huge stones which weigh several tons. These stones are so huge that they baffled engineers and architects on how the workers transported them. Moreover, the stones had been carved in such an amazing way that you will be shocked to see how those people did all these magnificent works without advanced technologies we have today. Mainstream archeologists believe it was the ancient people in Tiwanaku who built these fabulous architectures. They used basic tools, such as ropes, and some metal objects to cut and carve the stones. It is very difficult to admit those people used basic tools. In fact, Pumapunku reminds us of the Egyptian pyramids. Their works were so accurate that even a razor blade cannot pass between two rocks.

In addition, we think the site was made for religious purposes. We even found evidence that human sacrifice took place. The spiritual aspect of the Tiwanaku inhabitants was immense. It is believed, those people were advanced in their era on many things such as engineering, architecture and technology.

Made with the help of aliens?

In “Ancient Aliens” TV show, the ancient astronaut theorists claimed that Pumapunku architecture was created with the help of extraterrestrial beings. It is true we did not have advanced technologies at that time to build such magnificent stones with accurate designs and works. However, does this mean it is absolutely an advanced civilization from outer space came to help humans to build the site? Well, we do not have evidence for this, and do not forget, ancient astronaut theorists do not have it as well. All their claims are just theories and hypothesis.

Mainstream archeologists also have hypothesis and theories on the ways they suggested how the inhabitants built the site, but still, it is more rational than the extraterrestrial beings one.

Conclusion

Therefore, the rational explanation on the Pumapunku is to accept the current theories and hypothesis from mainstream archeologists than ancient astronaut theorists because the former weigh more in terms of evidence. Perhaps it is true aliens helped human beings to construct these sites, we do not know as we do not have proof!

Ancient Mysteries!

I am fascinated with ancient mysteries. From a very early age in life I discovered mysteries of our past that were left out of school textbooks.

I began to wonder why some subjects were neglected and ignored. I began reading as many books on ancient mysteries as I could get my hands on. It was so exciting! For example, in the Bible it talks of giants…but in the history and science books there is no mention of them at all! Why? There are claims of giant skeletons found…and I also wonder why all the ancient megalithic structures were made on such a grand scale? Why are the ancient temples, pyramids so large? How were they made? By these giants or acoustic levitation? How were these stones weighing several tons moved, then shaped to fit perfectly together without mortar? It’s as if we have lost a very important part of our true history.

There is evidence that around the last ice age, there existed a global culture…this iswhy we see similar architecture all over the world…this is why we find Egyptian artifacts in South America, etc. There is evidence that this global civilization circumnavigated the world. At the end of the last ice age, approximately 10,500 BC, the last great floodnearly wiped out this global culture…this is where the legends and myths begin of the gods coming from the seas bringing knowledge and wisdom to the natives, basically teaching how to survive the next cataclysm by building megalithic structures and charting the skies.

In conclusion, this is just a brief summation of why I am curious about our distant past. There are many more examples, too. One of the most intriguing aspects of our history that is overlooked in our literature is the oral records that come to us from the past of our true origins. The global culture that existed and were nearly wiped out told the people that they came from the stars, an example is the Dogon tribe but also many more around the world! The further you go back in time, the stranger and more mysterious our history becomes!
