Not a normal octopus!
Kraken is a sea monster, a giant octopus or squid which is originated in the Arctic regions. The legend of Kraken reveals that it is used to attack ship. We have no record if people died from Kraken. We know this creature was misinterpreted as a “sea-dragon”, crab and others. Due to the various hoaxes and statements on it, a legend was created, which involved fear.
A legend is difficult to believe, it can be considered as a myth, and a myth is normally rejected because it does not exist, this is what Kraken has been known for in modern eras. People did not believe in it, it was like believing in stuffs like unicorn, dragon etc. However, there are people who still believe in this legend but mostly not.

Can we prove Kraken?
You will not believe in a legend, will you? Kraken goes in the same rank like Bigfoot, Chupacabra, Yeti and much more. We know Kraken is a giant octopus or squid, and we know these two creatures exist, so why deny the existence of Kraken? We have discovered giant squids where their size is huge and have long tentacles in the abyss (Deep sea), and there is a greater chance that Kraken was among these squids’ family. It is just a question of how to interpret the matter. Sometimes, many legends are born from the reality. People make it a myth by adding senseless information and complicated things. We must know that in a rational aspect, Kraken does exist.
To end on this, in 2012, some marine biologists did discover a squid with the size of Kraken. Hence, this discovery supports the fact that Kraken really existed and still exists!
