If you are a lover of cryptid, Yeti will interest you. This cryptid is a bit well-known in the world of mysteries, and it does have its importance to form part.

Bigfoot’s cousin?

Have you heard about Bigfoot? If yes, then probably you must know Yeti a little because they both share mostly the same descriptions: a tall creature, just like a gorilla, a bit scary due to its size. However, Yeti is from Asia, particularly in the Himalayan regions, while Bigfoot is from North America.

The Yeti is also known as snowman and was considered as a “demi-God” by some Tibetans as well very long time ago. Based on the statements we have on it, many persons have seen foot prints, about 30 centimeters long and about 10-15 centimeters wide.

Most of the Yeti sightings came from the Mount of Everest. Hikers and mountain climbers were often the main witnesses. We do not have any record that Yeti has killed or injured any living being.

Yeti, debunked?

We do not have any concrete evidence Yeti existed or still exists. Most featherweight evidences are either foot prints or sightings. They are not credible at all. Some claim they encountered the creature, others say they analyzed a hair sample and found no DNA match, however, all these statements have been debunked later. The hair for instance came from a bear in that region. We have more supports this creature is a myth or simply misinterpreted. The sightings could be bear or any ape.

Conclusion

The Himalayan regions are immense, it will be difficult to install camera or trap. Just like other cryptid, the Yeti also goes the same, a mystery! No evidence has been found today to say the creature exists. In fact, all the so-called “evidences” have been debunked.
