Ancient Mysteries!

A special friend of mine has written a very good post on ancient mysteries which she has always loved to research and to study! Here the fabulous post of her below:

I am fascinated with ancient mysteries. From a very early age in life I discovered mysteries of our past that were left out of school textbooks.

I began to wonder why some subjects were neglected and ignored. I began reading as many books on ancient mysteries as I could get my hands on. It was so exciting! For example, in the Bible it talks of giants…but in the history and science books there is no mention of them at all! Why? There are claims of giant skeletons found…and I also wonder why all the ancient megalithic structures were made on such a grand scale? Why are the ancient temples, pyramids so large? How were they made? By these giants or acoustic levitation? How were these stones weighing several tons moved, then shaped to fit perfectly together without mortar? It’s as if we have lost a very important part of our true history.

There is evidence that around the last ice age, there existed a global culture…this iswhy we see similar architecture all over the world…this is why we find Egyptian artifacts in South America, etc. There is evidence that this global civilization circumnavigated the world. At the end of the last ice age, approximately 10,500 BC, the last great floodnearly wiped out this global culture…this is where the legends and myths begin of the gods coming from the seas bringing knowledge and wisdom to the natives, basically teaching how to survive the next cataclysm by building megalithic structures and charting the skies.

In conclusion, this is just a brief summation of why I am curious about our distant past. There are many more examples, too. One of the most intriguing aspects of our history that is overlooked in our literature is the oral records that come to us from the past of our true origins. The global culture that existed and were nearly wiped out told the people that they came from the stars, an example is the Dogon tribe but also many more around the world! The further you go back in time, the stranger and more mysterious our history becomes!

Space, Still A Mystery!

Humanity knows space more than the abyss! Everybody dreams to be in space to admire the magnificent view of earth, and other components in the universe. Astronauts are the most lucky who got the chance to be in space, the same space with full of mysteries!

Since pre-historic times, humans have always wanted to know what is in the sky. Cavemen at that time were puzzled, they were trying to find an answer, unfortunately we did not have the advanced technologies in that era like we have today! The urge to know what happened above the sky continued until humanity’s knowledge started growing, we started asking ourselves questions with unexplained answers. The truth with evidences were absolutely difficult to find, then came some early civilizations like the Mayans, Inca, the ancient Egyptians and so on, started observing, analyzing and studying space more than other mysteries. The Mayans were well-versed in astronomy, without forgetting their famous calendar, the Greek also studied space, the ancient Egyptians the same, and their life and works devoted in researching on space were extremely marvelous!

Time passed where finally a new advanced civilization formed, that is us, humans intelligence and knowledge continued expanding, today we have very advanced technologies, we invented gadgets to explore the space, telescopes, rockets, space agencies like NASA were created, man has landed on the moon, new discoveries have been made, Mars planet is being explored, new theories with proofs have been obtained, science has been our weapon to answer those unexplained questions which our early ancestors were trying hardly to find! And in this science revolution, we have successfully contradicted religious scriptures on space such as the world is not flat or has 6000 years old, or the sun rises from the east to set in the west, etc… Curiosity rover has landed on Mars in 2012, to explore the conditions on this planet, it is believed that the first extraterrestrial contact will be fully achieved within 20 years, other scientists believe the same. Many planets like Gliese have been discovered and said they can have life, new stars are being born, the list is so long to mention the number of explorations and discoveries has successfully achieved!

Science is still our dearest weapon but since when? Is science still that powerful so that in the future with the continuous growth of human intelligence, to answer the rest of the space mysteries? Has science reached its golden age? We are still a young civilization, we have a lot to discover, we have a lot to advance to answer unexplained things. What about the mysterious part of dark energy in the universe? Does dark energy exist or it is gravity which is acting in different ways? Will Higgs Boson answer our questions about the creation of universe and what happened before it or we will still need to think a ‘creator’ who created everything? Will we be in contact with Aliens or Aliens will contact us first? Will we have the chance to be on planets like Gliese which are hundreds of years of light far from us one day? Can we create a spacecraft which can travel faster than the speed of light? Can we colonize Mars or Moon? When we will successfully travel through time? When we will successfully know the mystery of black hole? There are not hundreds of questions, but thousands and thousands of questions which we ask everyday if one day we will find answers…

The most difficult questions relating to our life will be answered in universe! To unveil the secrets, more investments have to be done on research instead of wars. Science must be obligatory in schools and colleges. Children should have scientific knowledge since young age. All people should have the habit to think differently instead of being brainwashed and believe in fantasies. The more we believe in fantasies like the world is flat or the world is 6000 years old, we will not advance!

We still have a lot to grow, our civilization is only a drop of water in the ocean when it concerns the advancement of science and technologies, more research will have to take place, do not forget that even we know space at a greater percentage, other unsolved mysteries and studies have to increase particularly the deep-sea (Abyss).

Easter Island’s Giant Statues Mystery!

When you hear Easter Island, you will no doubt think the giant statues which you often see in documentaries and photos.

Easter Island is located near Tahiti, about 2500 KM away. The time it was discovered in the 1700s, the island was uninhabited. Today, there is a small amount of inhabitants, about 4,800 who live there. Scientists and researchers or even some hikers often go there. If you want to visit this wonderful island, you can do it via sea or air. You can rent cars and bicycles for your journeys. It is an island which has a real beauty in terms of landscapes. There are caves where you can visit and have a nice time. Since, 1888, the Chilean government occupied the Easter Island.

The amazing part of the Easter Island is these giant statues which have been mentioned earlier. There are about 800 statues present, and they are known as “Moai“. These statues are still so mysterious, the main reason why Easter Island is among the well-known mysteries in the world.   Even today, scientists are baffled to know how these statues were placed there. Some scholars believe the original inhabitants before did everything, but still, the theory has contradictions.

From this, different theories have come on the table. Conspiracy theorists and paranormal researchers strongly believe these statues had been placed and constructed with the help of extraterrestrial beings, precisely, an advanced civilization. It is impossible at that time, to dig a big hole, and to construct the statue. Where they got tools and knowledge to cut the rock at such good precision? This has amazed conspiracy theorists! What is surprising, these statues do not have only head, but also body in the underground. Now imagine, how huge are these statues, and they shows how difficult for only human beings to place them inside the ground! This will remind you the pyramids of Egypt…

Furthermore, the island did not know only wonderful periods but also catastrophic episodes in ancient eras. The number of inhabitants was so enormous that the island had to pass in a situation of massive deforestation. The inhabitants got issues for food because there were no animals there except some insects and lizards.

We still do not fully know who really placed these statues on this island and why! There must be a reason after all. Were these statues placed for rituals? Were they placed to illustrate the appearance of an extraterrestrial civilization? Were they placed to give us a sign? We do not know! The mystery of Easter Island will continue to fascinate us in the future it seems if no discoveries are made…

Atlantis, The Lost City By Plato!

The lost city of Atlantis, is like a treasure hunt for many lovers of unsolved mysteries. The Atlantis lost city mystery is originated about 10,000 BC, claimed by Plato! He stated the city sank as they had failed to conquer Athens.

Atlantis was built by a God named, Poseidon! It is said the city had the most gorgeous creatures on earth, extremely beautiful human beings. In fact, it was in the same city that Poseidon had found his love, Cleito. The city had the most intelligent people as well, rich and famous personalities,

The ancient Greek civilizations were well-known for their famous legends and mythologies, thus, there is no guarantee that truly Atlantis existed in that era. Some persons state the city was not in the middle of Atlantic ocean but near to Spain while others say it was situated in the Mediterranean Sea! The issue here is Plato said Atlantis had the size of both Libya and Asia joined together, thus, not a real city as you imagine but mostly a continent itself. No doubt this is absolutely a fantasy, no such large continent has been discovered until now either on land or under the sea. It is said the city was destroyed in one day itself, another fantasy theory which is impossible to believe!

Conspiracy theorists discovered Atlantis was in fact composed of extraterrestrial beings. Based on the legend, it is believed the inhabitants had supernatural powers to control everything. Again, there is no such evidence exists to support these theories. Some places which some persons claim to be Atlantis are an island near Malta, the Bimini road, and others. Nevertheless, the descriptions given by Plato do not fit these places.

Thy myth continued to be among the most popular one in humanity’s history, even until today. Many researchers have invested their time massively to search this legendary city but in vain. What do you think of Atlantis?

What Happened To Mary Celeste?

When you research on Mary Celeste the first time, one thing can come into your mind, the movie Ghost Ship!

However, the ship in the movie is very different compared to Mary Celeste which was discovered in the 1870s in the Atlantic Ocean,  the mystery is, why it was abandoned and on top of that, why the crew disappeared? Many theories by investigators believe that perhaps the ship faced a terrible natural disaster, But this theory causes an issue and sounds illogical, if really the ship had faced a cyclone or other natural disasters, it would no doubt sink, it is impossible to face a natural disaster when all belongings of the passengers with the stuffs on board remained in the same places, no damages, no trace of lost materials except a lifeboat! Another theory is, the crew was abducted by Aliens! Again, no real evidence exists to support at least a little of it.

So, why the crew disappeared? As a lifeboat was missing, it can be said someone escaped from the ship, who knows! This mystery will continue to be among the famous unsolved in the world!

 

Pyramids of Egypt, Why?

One of the most mysterious monuments we ever have on earth is the Egyptian pyramids! We ask ourselves, why these giants monuments? Many theories exist but none is accurate. Le’s discuss this matter today.

The biggest Egyptian pyramid is Giza, with about 2,300,000 blocks each weights about 3 to more than 60 tons. The blocks were placed to face each others so that no space exists between them. In addition, the pyramid has 8 sides and not 4 like some scholars believe. To clearly observe the 8 sides, a good lighting condition is required. Most of the pyramids are covered with limestone, however, as the pyramids are more than 3000 years old, the soft limestone which covered the pyramids outside has been affected with the weather. Some still remain at the top of certain pyramids. What is amazing, it is among the rarest ancient buildings which has resisted earthquakes.

This post will not go further to elaborate all the astronomical mysteries of the pyramids. Nevertheless, the Giza one is situated at the center of the world. The pyramids are so mysterious that we often associate extraterrestrial explanations with them. It is believed they have been constructed to place the Pharaoh’s tomb, but no evidence of such tomb has been found. The question remains, how they constructed the pyramids? We did not have technologies to transport these giants blocks from hundreds of kilometers to their destinations. In fact, at that time, the ancient Egyptians did not know the wheel technology. They used simple tool to cut the blocks. As a result, the pyramid took about 20 years for the complete construction. Many theories have been released by scientists, however, they still remain theories as no proper evidences have been found to say that these pyramids were really constructed in these ways. It has been noticed that the pyramids have a strong relation with the Mathematical symbol Pi because of the similarity between the radius circle of the pyramids with the base. It is believed the pyramids have a relation with Ester Island, the Pyramids in Peru, and the Pyramids in China.

With the persistent increase in mysteries and advanced tactics of construction, we ask ourselves if whether an advanced Alien civilization has helped the ancient Egyptians during the construction of the pyramids. It is impossible to adopt the current theories from Science. They devoted themselves massively on astronomy, astrology and much more. Strange symbols have been found in the pyramids. Some are illustrating helicopters, tanks and so on which did not exist at that time. Furthermore, as there was no electricity in that era, we ask how they designed these symbols and how they constructed the chambers inside!

Why they constructed such huge monuments? There is no concrete explanation for this, however, some theories go further to say the pyramid of Giza for instance is just a clock. It is the clock which is waiting a new cycle to start. This has been considered after severe examinations of both astronomy and astrology. Again here, no evidence exists to support this theory!

Bélmez Faces Mystery

The Bélmez Faces is an another interesting phenomenon which has attracted many people who are passionate of paranormal, where mysterious faces which kept appearing on the floor of a house situated in Spain!

All happened in the 1970s in Spain, where the residents of the house claimed there were faces, both male and female, kept appearing on their floor. This has brought hundreds of visitors, including tourists to visit the house. One of the family members claimed he has broken the floor to see if the faces disappeared, but they did come again and this continued until some specialized persons in both paranormal and science fields, came to examine the faces themselves!

Earlier examinations concluded that no trace of painting has been discovered and no related substances have been used, but with time, other investigations with additional examinations were performed, which finally stated that chemical substances did use to reproduce those faces. The problem here is those persons who conducted those testings, have not debated massively on the results they have obtained but other parties did release a complete report of the tests. They said that substances which have been used could be found in drug stores, other examiners said different substances and materials have been used, etc…

Thus, we know now that the Bélmez Faces was debunked, however, why the family members in that house did it? No one knows the main answer!

 

The Yeti Mystery

Do you know Yeti? It is among the most debated cryptids in the world! Originated in the Himalayan regions, Yeti is similar to Big Foot, a white ape-being!

If you do a deep research on internet, you will find little information on Yeti, very weird, as it is among the most popular cryptids we have in this world. It goes without saying that scientific evidences are non-existent for Yeti, in fact for science, it is just a legend invented by the local citizens of the respective Himalayan areas. Apart from that, historians believe the cryptid may be from some religions existed some decades ago as believers used to pray a God similar like it! Whether it exists or not, Yeti will remain a good mystery in this world.

Do not confuse Stonehenge with Easter Island, they are different! Stonehenge is located in Wiltshire, United Kingdom! These giant rocks are normally monuments, and these monuments hide their own secrets to the world!

Stonehenge is a part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1980s, it is said these monuments are dated about 8000 BC. The fascinating aspect of the Stonehenge is we still do not know who has placed these rocks there as no proper evidence of their construction or placement exist! Some theorists state it was a place for worship, other think it was just a burial site and the monuments were represented as tombs, and another school of thought believe it was a healing place.

Some people in paranormal believe the monuments have a connection with extraterrestrial beings. They are like a gateway to communicate with them. Today, some beliefs like the Druids often go there to practice their rituals. Many tourists visit this site Every year.

The Mystery Of Nazca Lines

Peru, a blessed country with a vast of mysteries! With its pyramids and ancient civilizations just like Egypt, Peru has another wonderful location which is the Nazca Lines.

Nazca Lines were discovered in 1930s, they are composed with different designs which can only view from the air. The designs illustrate animals and insects like spiders, monkeys and much more.  According to some experts, the designs have been created by removing the reddish pebbles, together by uncovering also the white ground. The designs can be interpreted as several representations, it is said that the Nazca inhabitants themselves have made all these. Moreover, scientific evidences concluded that due to the dry climate on this region, these lines have been preserved at a higher degree else they could be vanished if the particular region was wet. The Nazca lines have been classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site for its popularity and mystery. Today, this site is at risk due to issues like pollutions, so visitors must be more responsible when visiting to not cause any damage. Scholars believe these lines were created from 150 BC to 650 AD.

The mysterious facts of the Nazca Lines are how they created them and why? Many people particularly those who believe Aliens visited us before argue that it was not the work of human beings alone but with the help of extraterrestrial beings. For example, when you see the mountain of Nazca, it is like it has been cut, to make it flat to welcome spaceships or airplanes, in other words, it is like a runway! Of course, no evidence exists to support this theory. Scientists believe these lines were created for religious rituals. Skeptics did reproduce the method these lines were created and they succeeded to find a theory even they do not have a concrete evidence they were really made from it!
