We hear it often on the radio or see on television, someone has disappeared! In United States for instance, more than 10,000 people are reported missing per year.
There are several reasons why people are missing in mysterious conditions. Unfortunately, few of missing cases are solved, while many are still pending for many years. Certain persons think the disappearances are natural and human error while others do not hesitate to include the possibility of paranormal.
3 popular reasons why people are missing are stated as follows:
- Social conflicts
Many forms of social conflicts exist; kidnapping is one of the reasons which make people missing. The rise of kidnapping of young girls and children is persistent in less-developed countries. We have also human traffic. Humans are being trafficked, killed to sell their organs. In addition, another cause of missing cases in people is slavery. There are countries still practice slavery even it is illegal! Crimes and violence in societies can make people disappear by killing them.
- Personal problems
We all have problems, love, financial, parental and so on. Problems can lead us to commit dangerous act like suicide. Teenagers often have love matters, and leaving their house to establish in another country. They can change their identity as well.
- Religious and paranormal
There are cults and sects which practiced deadly rituals than can lead to death. Heaven’s Gates for example, was a cult where many adherents committed suicide. Paranormal activities like alien abductions can be included even we do not have solid evidence to responsible the mysterious disappearances of many persons. Again here, people can be kidnapped and killed for rituals.
In some countries such as France, the police often use pseudoscience to solve some cold cases such as fetching the helps of psychics. Different methods can be used by families to search a missing relative or friend. First, report the case to the nearby police. Second, make people know by transmitting the messages and photo of the victim, put on internet and so on. Try to search places which you feel the missing person could go first. Bring dogs with you. Be in a group when searching. Continue your search for weeks. Leave the rest to time and hope.

tragically, in Indonesia. Missing persons are because someone who called them “God Slave” kidnap them and brainwash them to be a victim or a puppet. They don’t want to risk their life, so they brainwash people under 20 years old to be their “doll”. You know what I mean… I never agree with people who use this “doll” to attack minority… humans have right to live! and they have no right to be killed by human’s hand. It’s not related to alien at all. I, myself, feel unsecured in here..
