Who was Count of Saint Germain?

Count of Saint Germain was a famous musician and he gained a lot of popularity in Europe. He was a passionate of alchemy and arts. Count of Saint Germain was an interesting man with an interesting life. Not only he was a popular artist, but also, he knew several languages. More than that, he said he lived more than 500 years ago, and there are many rumors on him he is immortal. In fact, some believe, he still lives today under a different names. Some records on him are he used to work on different kinds of arts like painting, writing, etc. In brief, he was very talented.

Immortal?

Many claim Count of Saint Germain was immortal. However, we have a record of his death. He died at the end of 1780s. Thus, he was not immortal at all. Normally, this “immortality” stuff is originated from Nicholas Flamel books. From this, many paranormal and pseudo-scientists take him as reference for immortality. There was no such thing as immortality. It was just a fiction. The immortality part has been enriched with rumors and falsehoods, for examples, it is believed he appeared in many other countries after his death, in fact, he was appeared in the 1970s.

Of course, those who believe in re-incarnation will say he was re-incarnated, but still, it is just a claim not evidence.

Conclusion

We agree Count of Saint Germain was an interesting person with lots of talents, but he was NOT immortal at all and these rumors on him are nothing but fictions.

Located at Shugborough Hall, England, the Shugborough inscription is on a monument and is a set of letters, which is composed of “O U O S V A V V”. The monument is dated around 300 years ago, and this inscription is among the most difficult cryptography ever. Many people failed to unveil the secret behind it. One of the people who wanted to know its meaning were Charles Darwin and others.

Several persons proposed their own results, for examples, some believe the letters are just acronym and represent a love message, others think they are hiding a treasure location and much more.

Fiction and conspiracy theory

There is a conspiracy theory on this inscription which says it is associated to the Knight Templar, a famous secret society existed many centuries ago. This secret society is often pointed as one of the first branches of Freemasonry and Illuminati. In addition, some think the inscription reveals the secret of the Holy Grail.

Evidence!

There is no evidence that the inscription has a link to both the Knight Templar or any sort of secret society and the Holy Grail. They are just speculations. They are among the answers from the persons who decrypted the letters. In fact, we still do not know what is hiding behind these letters.

Conclusion

The inscription still remains a mystery. Is it just an acronym addressing to someone or a real hidden treasure? Time perhaps will tell…

A monument which still reserves us a lot of mystery, which is still discussed by conspiracy theorists, which reflects the guidelines to humanity, the Georgia Guidestones.

What is so special of this monument?

Located in Georgia, United States, the Georgia Guidestones is a monument which is composed of some important guidelines, written in various languages. Some think these guidelines are necessary to maintain a good balance to the world. The monument is made of granite and measure about 5 meters tall.

Many people think the guidestones do not have an origin, in other words, nobody knows who made them, but this has been contradicted. Normally, it was a certain “Christian” who made these granites from a company. Bear in mind, this person is not known, we only know a nickname.

The monument has also a link to astronomy. There is a tablet near the guidestones which is based on astronomical alignment.

The messages

Each guidestone holds a message. The message is written in different languages from several civilizations. The messages can make you scared, because normally, these guidestones are supposed to be guidelines. However, we do not know if these guidelines are for our world or a particular country or whatever, even many theories exist on this.

One of the messages on the guidestone is to keep the number of humanity under 500 millions. From this message, particularly from this word “humanity”, we can say the message or guideline is globally. Other messages are to adopt a single global language, live in harmony and much more.

New World Order (NWO)

Conspiracy theorists strongly believe these guidestones are composed of messages for a NWO. For example, we often hear secret societies like Illuminati or Freemasonry want to reduce the world population. As one of the messages on the guidestones says to maintain a global population of under 500 millions, no doubt conspiracy theorists will take this into account.

Evidence of any NWO associated

There is no evidence these guidestones represent a NWO concept. Conspiracy theorists are nuts most of the time, they often say craps which are nonsense to get money or to sell their products or to be famous. In addition, we do not know if these messages are a joke or an art product.

Conclusion

The guidestones are good to see. People can visit them. To say whether they are associated with conspiracy theories, we do not have any evidence to support this theory. One thing is sure, the guy “Christian” who made them, still remains a mystery.

Atlantis

The lost city of Atlantis, is like a treasure hunt for many lovers of unsolved mysteries. Did this so-called advanced city exist? Let’s discuss!

What was the Atlantis lost city?

The Atlantis is originated since 330 BC, claimed by Plato, in his writings “Timaeus and the Critias“! He stated the city sank as they had failed to conquer Athens. Atlantis was built by a God named, Poseidon! It is said the city had the most gorgeous creatures on earth, extremely beautiful human beings. In fact, it was in the same city that Poseidon had found his love, Cleito. The city had the most intelligent people as well, rich and famous personalities.

Conspiracy theories

Conspiracy theorists discovered Atlantis was in fact composed of extraterrestrial beings. Based on the legend, it is believed the inhabitants had supernatural powers to control everything. Again, there is no such evidence exists to support these theories. Some places which some persons claim to be Atlantis are an island near Malta, the Bimini road, and others. Nevertheless, the descriptions given by Plato do not fit these places.

Did it exist?

The ancient Greek civilizations were well-known for their famous legends and mythologies, thus, there is no guarantee that truly Atlantis existed in that era. Some persons state the city was not in the middle of Atlantic ocean but near to Spain while others say it was situated in the Mediterranean Sea! The issue here is Plato said Atlantis had the size of both Libya and Asia joined together, so, not a real city as you imagine but mostly a continent itself. No doubt this is absolutely a fantasy, no such large continent has been discovered until now either on land or under the sea. It is said the city was destroyed in one day itself, another fantasy theory which is impossible to believe! There is no record in ancient textures of Atlantis, even in Greek texts. If Atlantis was so famous, there would be at least a single record on it.

Conclusion

The myth continued to be among the most popular one in humanity’s history, even until today. Many researchers have invested their time massively to search this legendary city but in vain. As we have no concrete evidence of its existence and no record before Plato’s claim, we can say there is a greater chance Plato invented it by himself for his texts. Lots of places have been reported as Atlantis, however, they do not meet any requirements. Even we find a place one day, we cannot be sure it is Atlantis.

Black Dahlia

Unsolved crimes have always been a mystery! We have Jack the Ripper, Amity ville crimes and now, Black Dahlia.

Who was Black Dahlia?

Black Dahlia was a nickname given to Elizabeth Short who had been mutilated and killed in 1947 in Los Angeles. Black Dahlia has been always a mysterious subject because the circumstances she was killed and the killer has never been found until today!

Just like ‘Jack the Ripper’ in the 1880s in UK who used to mutilate his victims in his killing acts, Elizabeth also was the same except it was not Jack, the killer. Her body was found by a woman who was walking with her small daughter on the street. Elizabeth was nude at the time they saw her, where her body was cut at a severe level. It is said her killer used to send her belongings to media to claim his acts. This crime was so publicized at that time.

In search for fame…

The police arrested many persons in this case. More than 40 people claimed to be her killer. Those guys called themselves the killer because many movies and novels were released based on the crime, so to become famous easily, they used that opportunity to lie. Most of those “fake” killers were poor according to a source.

The killer has never been arrested!

According to some police officers and detectives, they said it was because of the sky high media interest on the case, the killer had never been apprehended. If the media respected some rules to not publicize and invent rumors, many clues would be found which would facilitate the authorities to investigate properly to solve the murder.

Conclusion

More than 50 years later, the Black Dahlia mystery is still unsolved. Should we blame the media or the police? Sometimes we have to understand there was no advanced forensic equipment and ways of research at that time.

Skin-walker

Have you heard of Skin-walker? Perhaps yes, because this monster is very common in many countries under different names!

What is the Skin-walker?

It is just a creature which can take several forms, it can take a human form and also possesses the person’s behaviors as well. The legend of this creature exists since many centuries, ancient civilizations fully believed in it like the Native Americans. The creature looked scary, hairy and could kill a person to steal his/her identity.

Cryptid?

When you think of Skin-walker, no doubt you may think of Werewolf, Jersey Devil, Moth-man, Thunderbird, and other mysterious creatures. In fact, Werewolves will correspond a bit more the Skin-walker than other cryptid. A legend revealed that the Skin-walker looked more like an animal, a hairy one, thus, there is a greater chance it looked like a wolf, bear or other hairy creatures.

Myth!

Native Americans used to believe in superstitions. Take example of Thunderbird, it was just a myth! It is highly possible there is no such creature like Skin-walker at all! Seeing is believing, it will be difficult to believe in such mythology because it is too fantasy! Superstitions are created from misunderstanding and paranoia. Then they are transmitted to each other. This is how the Skin-walker perhaps had been born.

Conclusion

To conclude on this matter, there is no such creature like the Skin-walker! No evidence exists!

Thunderbird

Cryptid again, after Mothman, Jersey devil and others, here we come on Thunderbird!

Caused thunder and fear…

Not the Thunderbird from Mozilla, but a metaphysical large bird which had powers to cause thunder and fear.  The Native Americans considered it as a God, and they used to believe thunders were created from it. According to the legend, the Thunderbird could destroy a place if it wanted, raised fear among the inhabitants who sinned and so on.

Ancient astronaut theory

Ancient astronaut theorists believe the Thunderbird was not a large bird as you may imagine but a giant spaceship or advanced aircraft which had been misinterpreted. The Native Americans did not have the right words to describe it. Based on the descriptions of the Thunderbird, ancient astronaut theorists think it correspond immensely to a flying machine. The engine sound of it was misinterpreted as thunder, the flying speed was misinterpreted as strong winds, the flash lights were misinterpreted as big eyes, etc.

Evidence!

There is no concrete evidence to support the existence of Thunderbird. Both theories from Native Americans’ belief or from ancient astronaut theorists are just claims. There are some Native American chiefs who believe the Thunderbird was really a flying machine. There are some drawings by ancient Native Americans dated hundreds of years ago to illustrate this. However, they are just pseudo-scientific claims.

Conclusion

As we have no evidence, we can classify the Thunderbird as a myth!

El Dorado

Perhaps you have heard someone says ‘El Eldorado’, here the version and context is different. El Dorado is among the most famous mysteries in the world.

What is the El Dorado?

The name El Dorado was given to an Indian chief, in South American regions in the early 15th century. The Indian chief had the same attributes like a Mayan priest, but something special about him was gold. As you know, Indians in ancient eras took gold as sacred, and often associated it to Gods. If you had gold with you, you were considered as a servant of Gods, or an important person.

Based on this legend, it is said that the chief had a large amount of gold, jewels and others in a ritual ceremony. After the ritual, the chief dropped all the gold stuffs in a lake, Guatavita. After some decades, the Spanish had heard about that story of gold, and they planned to search them. Unfortunately, neither they found the chief nor the gold. Many persons who tried to search the El Dorado died in the process. It must be pointed out that El Dorado was also interpreted as a place in different cultures.

Did this El Dorado exist?

The more you believe in something, the more it will exist! There is no evidence for the existence of El Dorado. It is true there was a rich priest who loved gold and possessed gold objects but the story of El Dorado had been modified with folklore. Sadly, still some people are searching for treasures in the lake Guatavita and the neighborhood.

Conclusion

Due to the lack of evidence of its existence, we can conclude the El Dorado was a folklore which was badly misunderstood.

Nazca lines

Peru, a blessed country with a vast of mysteries! With its pyramids and ancient civilizations just like Egypt, Peru has another wonderful location, the Nazca Lines.

Can only be viewed from the air!

Nazca Lines were discovered in 1930s, they are composed with different designs which can only be viewed from the air. The designs illustrate animals and insects like spiders, monkeys and much more.  According to some experts, the designs have been created by removing the reddish pebbles, together by uncovering also the white ground. The designs can be interpreted as several representations, it is said that the Nazca inhabitants themselves have made all these.

Moreover, scientific evidences concluded that due to the dry climate on this region, these lines have been preserved at a higher degree else they could be vanished if the particular region was wet. The Nazca lines have been classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site for its popularity and mystery. Today, this site is at risk due to issues like pollutions, so visitors must be more responsible when visiting to not cause any damage. Scholars believe these lines were created from 150 BC to 650 AD.

Ancient visitors…

The mysterious facts of the Nazca Lines are how they were created and why? Many people particularly those who believe Aliens visited us before argue that it was not the work of human beings alone but with the help of extraterrestrial beings. For example, when you see the mountain of Nazca, it is like it has been cut, to make it flat to welcome spaceships or airplanes, in other words, it is like a runway!

No evidence exists to support this theory. Scientists believe these lines were created for religious rituals. Skeptics did reproduce the method these lines were created and they succeeded to find a theory even they do not have a concrete evidence they were really made like that!

Conclusion

We really do not know the real truth of the Nazca Lines. Even mainstream archeologists believe they were created for religious purposes, others think there is a mystery associated to it. Rationally, the Nazca Lines are still classified as a mystery.

Vampire

Do vampires exist? No doubt you have asked this question in your life at least once, particularly after watching a good movie or reading an amazing novel on it!

A cryptid or what?

How to classify a vampire, a cryptid or something else? Well, you remember werewolf? There is a post on it which you can read and werewolf has similar characteristics of a vampire, except the person transforms into a wolf and search for blood. A vampire is normally where a person kills to suck blood. Hence, a vampire must be considered as a cryptid.

Myth and disease

To be short, vampires are just a myth! They do not exist at all! However, there is a kind of “vampire” which exists and it is not considered as a cryptid! A very rare and dangerous disease called Porphyria, may be one of the origins of the vampires you see in movies. It is a disease which manifests after you have been exposed massively in the sun. As vampires in mythologies cannot resist the sun, so the same for people who have Porphyria, they should avoid sun rays at any cost else the consequences will be dramatic to their health!

Moreover, in ancient civilizations, this myth of vampire existed! This has been transmitted from generations to generations, had been modified many times and finally, we know what it is today! For example before, vampires could transform themselves to other creatures, then we knew vampires killed by biting the neck to drink the blood, today vampires have changed! For someone to drink human blood, no doubt he/she has mental illness. It is the same as a cannibal, who will kill without mercy to eat human organs. This kind of people exist but extremely few today!

Vampires are often associated in Satanic rituals or any black magic séance. It has been reported some persons who are involved in dark activities, often kill animals by biting them to have their blood!

As conclusion, if you dream to be a vampire, sorry, but this cryptid does not exist, in fact it is a myth! Normally, we do not know if a cryptid exists or not, while vampire, we know it does not exist except the one from Porphysia or someone who is a cannibal.
